Legitimate Business (2004-2010)
It's with a heavy heart I write that headline. After 6 years and (possibly) over 100 shows, we're calling it quits this summer. As we all remain friends, we're not closing the door on things in the future, but for now, LB is done. Don't hold your breath for any lame reunions after 2 weeks. So far we only have the shows listed on our Myspace page booked and confirmed. We're open to playing throughout the summer, so if you've been holding off on asking us to play a show, please contact us here, through the website www.legitimatebusinessrock.com , or directly at my email markambrose85@gmail.com as soon as you can. We're looking to book at least one definitive FINAL show before the summer's over in the north NJ area. If you have any all ages venue suggestions or offers, or if you'd like your band to open, again, please let us know. We'll be posting show info and a final band statement when the time is right. But it should be said now, thank you for your support and for listening to our band in all its incarnations.

"FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS" IS UP FOR ORDER!
Well, here we go! Our brand new album "First World Problems" is up for sale! You can find it in the merch section. It's ten bucks (plus two for shipping) anywhere in the USA! E-mail me if you're in a faraway land so we can work out shipping costs.

Completing this album would have been entirely impossible without the support of some awesome individuals who we strongly encourage you go out and support. A big thanks to Mike Oettinger at Cannon Found Soundation for recording and producing the album, Alan Douches at West West Side Music for mastering, Joe Syverson for the album illustrations, Jeff Rosenstock at Twincuts for the layout and overall design, and Bret Morgan and Danny Croak at Bands on a Budget for pressing the CD!

too nice.
So it's been quite the week! Four shows in seven days makes for a rather hectic comeback weekend, to say the least. The feedback we've gotten from both the shows and our new songs has been amazingly supportive, so we've gone ahead and tossed up another song on Myspace. It's the new version of It's Not Murder... If You're Already Dead! Enjoy it!

Oh, and about that new album...
first world problems
1. First World Problems
2. The Next 23 Years
3. 80 on 80
4. Remember When
5. It's Not Murder... If You're Already Dead
6. Sneaking Suspicion
7. A New Era
8. Saint of Killers
9. Lost Direction
10. Have a Drink, Baby!
11. One Hell of a Ride
12. S.O.S.
13. A Bitter Goodbye Song

There's the cover art! It's provided by Jeff at TwinCuts and Joe Syverson. The mastering process is complete so it should go out for pressing really really soon. After it's in we'll make sure you can get it from here and Interpunk and iTunes and wherever else you actually pay for music!

we're back!
Well, it certainly has been a while, but it's good to be an active band again! We've been on a bit of a hiatus with some major lineup changes and an extensive recording process, but we're ready to be a band again! This is also a good time to welcome Mark Chelminiak, who will be playing guitar and keys for us for a while!

We've posted an upcoming show with the Riverboat Gamblers and Fake Problems next month at Maxwell's in Hoboken. More shows should be announced this week.

And the last thing to catch up on... is the release of our album First World Problems! While we still don't have a final date ready, the mastering process has reached its completion, and we are just preparing the art (thanks to Joe Syverson for drawing and Jeff Rosenstock from twincuts for doing the layout) before we can announce anything official.

Expect some more shows to be posted this week as well as some new music!
